What information do we collect about you and how long is it kept?
We collect information about you when you telephone the office or contact us via our website. At this stage only basic information such as name, address and telephone number are held in a secure electronic filing system. If you do not take up our services, this information will be destroyed securely after one year.
If you decide to proceed with the order, we may then take further contact details such as an email address. Your information will then be input onto a secure electronic system and will be kept for a period of 10 years in order to honour the 10 year insurance backed guarantee.
We only accept payments via BACs or cheque, so no card information is ever shared with the company.
How will we use the information about you?
Your information will be used for the purposes of providing you goods and services from Crescent Windows Ltd.
In the future Crescent Windows Ltd may consider sending you information relating to products and services provided by Crescent Windows Ltd, however at this moment in time, we do not do this.
Who will your information be shared with?
When Crescent Windows Ltd install your products, your information will then be shared with FENSA who are a government authorised Competent Person Scheme for the replacement of windows, doors, roof windows and roof lights in England and Wales against the relevant Building Regulations. We only share your name and address with this company. We will also share your information with our insurance guarantee company who of which are QANW, who are a leading provider of insurance backed guarantees and deposit protection insurance. The rights you have in relation to your data
You have the following rights in relation to data held about you:
the right to be informed about the use of your personal data.
This information can be found in this Notice.

This means that you have the right to receive a copy of any data we hold about you, as well as the right to obtain confirmation that your data is being processed and any other supplementary information. Requests can be verbal or in writing. Crescent Windows Ltd will provide the requested information within a month and will not charge a fee for this.
the right to have personal data rectified if it is inaccurate or incomplete.

You can ask us to delete your information at any time, however this may affect your guarantee.

It allows you to move, copy or transfer your personal data easily from one IT environment to another. This right only applies to information you have provided to us and which has been processed electronically.

Crescent Windows Ltd does not use automated decision making or profiling.
